Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry - Private service

Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry for an established private hospital based in Surrey.
 
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

This role is a full-time permanent position and you will be working in a private Acute and Addiction service. The role is to provide outpatient assessments and follow-ups for private patient referrals and to provide urgent slots for these assessments. To continue to be the consultant to outpatient, day patient and in-patient admissions that are allocated to the consultant 

Responsibilities:

• Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
• Active role in service and development activities
• Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
• Taking clinical responsibility for patients
• Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
• Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
• Take part in medical related audits

Job Requirements:

• GMC with a licence to practise
• CCT/Specialist Registration with the GMC
• Approved Clinician status
• Section 12 approval
• MRCPsych
• MBSS qualification
