We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Con/Spec Dr in Adult Crisis CMHT to work within an NHS service in North Yorkshire.
Job Description:
This role is a full-time Locum position based in North Yorkshire. You will be working in an inpatient Adult service for patients with mental illness.
Service provision in capacity of speciality doctor with Sec 12 approval or a consultant grade for adult crisis mental health team.
This will include leading the team, advising leadership team, supporting decision making, medication reviews and follow ups for patients in crisis, prescribing, formulating with MDT support, guiding the MDT, nurses and +/- junior doctor.
The doctor will be expected to be an effective team member, attending relevant meetings, liaising with ward, internal and external agencies, other mental health teams and GPs if needed for the benefit of patients.Job Requirements:
- GMC with a licence to practise
- Approved Clinician status
- Section 12 approval
- MBBS qualification
