Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS to work within an NHS service in Romford.
The postholder will be part of the Senior Psychiatrist on-call rota covering out of hours and weekends for Mental Health Services. The on-call will cover service delivery for Children and Adolescents presenting with mental health problems. The on-call rota is covered by the local community substantive CAMHS consultants and the two inpatient consultants. 
The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs.
The successful candidate will provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases. The consultant will be expected to provide guidance and supervision to the team, work directly with children and young people (and their families), and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers, and acute hospitals. You will work alongside another CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, 2.5 Specialty Doctors, and 1 Core Trainee, and will share supervision for junior members of the team with your consultant colleague.
The postholder will have access to an office based at Chadwell Heath.
The postholder will be professionally and clinically accountable to the Consultants in the team, and operationally accountable to both the Associate Medical Director, and the Director of Children Services, via the Assistant Director.
The post holder will be a suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrist with Approved Clinician (AC) certification, or eligibility for it. The post holder will be a GMC registered clinician responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care.
Experience / Skills Required: Experienced Dr with CAMHS experience, Rio trained, must be recent
Working Hrs / Shifts: Monday to Friday. 09:00 to 17:00 (3 days on site and 2 days remote)
