Locum Speciality Doctor Psychiatrist in Adult

Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Specialty Doctor Psychiatrist in Adult to work within an NHS service in Harrogate.

Job Description:

This role is a full-time Locum position based in Harrogate. You will be working in an inpatient Adult service for patients with mental illness.

Key responsibilities:

Service provision in capacity of speciality doctor with/without Sec 12 approval for adult community mental health team. This will include conducting clinics, seeing new patients and reviews, assessing and managing mental health and relevant physical health of patients. The doctor would also be expected to attend team MDT meetings participation in junior/nursing staff advice/supervision and formulation meetings. The doctor will be expected to be an effective team member, attending relevant meetings, liaising with GPs, internal and external agencies and other mental health teams if needed for the benefit of patients. 

Job Requirements:

• GMC with a licence to practise
• Approved Clinician status
• MBBS qualification
