Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry to work within an established private hospital in Norwich

Job Description:

This role is a full-time permanent position, the hospital provide treatment to men and women aged 18 and above who are dealing with significant mental health challenges. Often, these individuals cannot receive the necessary care within a community setting due to the severity of their conditions. Whether admitted under the Mental Health Act or voluntarily, our acute inpatient services are designed to support working-age adults through a seamless and continuous care process. Our primary goal is to stabilise, treat, and effectively discharge our patients, enabling them to transition back into their daily lives with improved mental health.

All of our services provide 24-hour medical cover and admissions.

Upon admission, we work collaboratively with each person to establish a personalised acute pathway focusing on stabilisation, treatment and effective discharge.

Key responsibilities:

Provide high quality treatment under the supervision of a Consultant

Weekly ward rounds and MDT meetings

Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings

Audit medical services and ensure compliance with professional guidelines

Assess referrals and mental examinations of patients

 

Job Requirements:

  • GMC with a licence to practise
  • Recent experience in Acute Psychiatry
  • Section 12 approval (Desirable)
  • MRCPsych (Desirable)
  • MBSS qualification
