Job Title: Locum Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT)

Location: Derbyshire, UK

Salary: £30-45 PH

Contract Type: Temporary/Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to join our clients team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality CBT interventions to clients with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive CBT assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.

  • Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions.

  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional standards.

  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

  • Provide training and support to junior therapists and mental health support workers.

  • Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (e.g., Diploma, MSc, or equivalent).

  • Registration with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting providing CBT.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest CBT research and practices.
