Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in Perinatal to work within an NHS service in Birmingham.
Job Description:
This role is a full-time Locum position based in Birmingham. You will be working in a Mother & Baby Unit service for patients with mental illness.
Key responsibilities:
· Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
· Active role in service and development activities
· Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
· Taking clinical responsibility for patients
· Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
· Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
· Take part in medical related audits.Job Requirements:
· GMC with a licence to practise
· Approved Clinician status
· Section 12 approval
