We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialty Doctor in Adult - Acute Psychiatry to work within an established private hospital in Hertfordshire.
Job Description:
This role is a full-time permanent position based in an established private hospital. The hospital has 105 beds over 32 wards covering Acute, Rehabilitation and Recovery (R&R), Secure, Psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), Bespoke therapeutic placement (BTP)
The hospital provides care and treatment for their patients with a range of complex Mental Health issues.Key responsibilities:
- Provide high quality treatment under the supervision of a Consultant
- Weekly ward rounds and MDT meetings
- Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
- Audit medical services and ensure compliance with professional guidelines
- Assess referrals and mental examinations of patients
Job Requirements:
- GMC with a licence to practise
- Recent experience in Acute Psychiatry
- Section 12 approval (Desirable)
- MRCPsych (Desirable)
- MBSS qualification
