Consultant Psychiatrist in Rehabilitation Psychiatry

Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Rehabilitation Psychiatry for an established private hospital based in North Yorkshire.
 
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

This role is a full-time permanent position and you will be working in a Female Rehabilitation service. The service has 21 beds across two wards in a locked rehabilitation setting providing treatment for women with mental disorders including personality disorders. The wards are well supported by a full complement of multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
• Active role in service and development activities
• Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
• Taking clinical responsibility for patients
• Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
• Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
• Take part in medical related audits

Job Requirements:

• GMC with a licence to practise
• CCT/Specialist Registration with the GMC
• Approved Clinician status
• Section 12 approval
• MRCPsych
• MBSS qualification
