Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for an established private hospital based in Staffordshire.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
This role is a part-time (3 days per week) permanent position and you will be working in a 6 bed Tier 4 CAMHS serviceFull time junior doctor support
Site based clinical governance and Medical Advisory Committee Meeting
Opportunity to develop leadership skills through the existing Group wide committee meetings (e.g. Research and Development and Drugs and Therapeutics Committee)
Participation in second tier Consultant on-call rota

- Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
- Active role in service and development activities
- Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
- Taking clinical responsibility for patients
- Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
- Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
- Take part in medical related audits
Job Requirements:
- GMC with a licence to practise
- CCT/Specialist Registration with the GMC
- Approved Clinician status
- Section 12 approval
- MRCPsych
- MBSS qualification
