Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry - Private service

Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry for an established private hospital based in London.
 
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

This role is a part time (6 sessions/22.5hrs per week) permanent position. The main purpose of this role is to provide high quality care for patients referred to the hospital and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme based on the recovery model.

Responsibilities:

• Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
• Active role in service and development activities
• Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
• Taking clinical responsibility for patients
• Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
• Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
• Take part in medical related audits

Job Requirements:

• GMC with a licence to practise
• CCT/Specialist Registration with the GMC
• Approved Clinician status
• Section 12 approval
• MRCPsych
• MBSS qualification
