Here at Staff Partners Mental Health, we have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for an established private hospital based in London.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
This role is a part time (6 sessions/22.5hrs per week) permanent position and you will be working in an inpatient EDU.Key Responsibilities:
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering patient care while also contributing to team leadership and service development.
You will be responsible for:
Performing comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Leading ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and care reviews.
Overseeing clinical management of complex cases, particularly those involving risk or challenging behaviour.
Supporting patients and families through treatment decisions, relapse prevention, and recovery pathways.
Providing mentorship, supervision, and support to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
Driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and national standards.
Collaborating with site leadership to ensure efficient service delivery and patient satisfaction.Job Requirements:
- GMC with a licence to practise
- CCT/Specialist Registration with the GMC
- Approved Clinician status
- Section 12 approval
- MRCPsych
- MBSS qualification
